Stunning and iconic Bolla light by Elio Martinelli for Martinelli Luce. Its versatile design allows it to be used as a wall light, ceiling light, table lamp, or floor lamp. It’s sculptural white acrylic shade takes it design cues from a bubble (Bolla in Italian) and emits a lovely diffused light. The light comes with a power cord fitted with an Australian plug but can also be hardwired for a more permanent installation. This piece includes its maker’s mark on the metal backing. Made in Italy, circa the 1960s.
Great vintage condition. Backing has been newly powder coated. Some small signs of wear to acrylic shade and corner clips.
